The USS Missouri is one of the most celebrated battleships in U.S. Naval history, perhaps best remembered as the official site of Japanese surrender at the end of World War II. She also served during the Korean War and as fire support during Operation Desert Storm. The "Mighty Mo" was decommissioned in March of 1992.
